Kangaroo for GC R2 and RecTIVision for GC

Posted on Mar 24, 2011
News

I have updated Kangaroo for GC. The new release has many of the updates and fixes that Daniel Piker added to the grasshopper version. Some new features include:

  • Bending forces now have a start angle and the force will now try to keep the bending at that angle. for example if you want to keep a polygon in a specific shape (hexagon) the bending force will try to maintain the angle.
  • Planerize and Equilize now work on N-Gones
  • many new update methods were added to make using the system easier.

I hope you all enjoy the new release and please let me know any bugs you may find

Also there is a new plugin which will link Reactivision to GC.  For those of you unfamiliar with Reactivision it is a tangible interface that tracks points and rotation of physical markers using a camera. In addition to this i will soon release a Arduino plugin in for GC.
